Answer: Absolutely! We love creating bespoke pieces that tell your unique story. Custom orders are central to Giventia's vision.
Process: Simply contact us with your idea, inspiration (like colors, clothing, or themes), and we’ll work with you to sketch a design that aligns with our African elegance aesthetic.
Note: Custom orders typically require a slightly longer creation time (see question 2) and may incur an additional design fee
Answer: Because every pair is hand-molded, baked, sanded, and assembled by Givi (just like her story mentions!), the process takes time to ensure quality.
Production Time: Please allow 5–7 business days for your piece to be crafted, cured, and finished before shipping.
Shipping: Once complete, standard shipping within South Africa typically takes an additional 2–4 business days. We will provide a tracking number as soon as your order is dispatched.
Answer: Polymer clay is durable, but your Giventia pieces are unique works of art and should be treated with class and care.
Avoid: Do not wear your earrings in the shower or pool, and avoid contact with harsh chemicals like perfumes, hairspray, or makeup (put your earrings on last!).
Cleaning: To clean, gently wipe the clay surface with a soft, damp cloth. Do not bend the clay pieces intentionally, as this can weaken the structure.
Storage: Store them in a safe, dry place where they won't be crushed or scratched.
Answer: We ensure high-quality materials are used to complement the elegance of the clay design.
Metals: All our earring posts, hooks, and findings are hypoallergenic and nickel-free stainless steel (or high-quality gold/silver plated brass for specialty designs) to ensure comfort and lasting wear.
Clay: We use professional-grade polymer clay that is lightweight and durable after curing, making even our statement pieces comfortable for all-day wear.
